Lifescouts

This is something I’m very excited about.

Lifescouts is a new motivational concept thought up by the brilliant Alex Day. Basically, the idea behind it is to collect badges for experiences you have had in life, and to reblog them on the Internet, sharing your story. I’ve been in the Scouting movement in the UK for 11 years and love this idea, I always found the idea of receiving something for your achievements a great motivation to do things you might otherwise not do!

I really recommend Lifescouting to absolutely everyone. Activities included so far range from Mountain Climbing to visiting the Mona Lisa, Skateboarding to Riding in a Hot Air Balloon; and more badges are beng uploaded every day! Lifescouting is a great way to be recognised for experiences that you have had; the badges are a perfect conversation starter; it also gives you great ideas and motivation to try something new!

I’m going to get right on reblogging and sharing the stories behind badges I have already achieved, and planning how to get some I haven’t!
